UNSW Cyber Security Hypothetical

23 Oct, 2019 | News

Yesterday our Operations Coordinator, Arielle Ridley, attended the UNSW Cyber Security Hypothetical on behalf of BCT Solutions to learn more about the challenges our clients face. She left fascinated by the opportunities we all have to help plan and create a new and better internet-enabled future.

Cyber security is deadly serious. We all know that computer viruses are getting worse, and industrial IP theft through connected technology continues to be a greater problem. What is fascinating is how Industry 4.0 technology is being used to spread misinformation that erodes trust and threatens democracies. Yet, we can use this same technology to prepare for new threats and safeguard our way of life. BCT Solutions is passionate about partnering with our clients to deliver high-level cyber expertise and knowledge.

Thank you to the panellists, Major General Marcus Thompson, Professor Michael Frater, Mr. Alastair MacGibbon, Ms. Kate Carruthers, and Mr. Justin Warren for sharing their significant expertise and backgrounds, and thank you to ADFA and UNSW for hosting this great event.
