Nominate Now! Prime Minister’s Veterans’ Awards 2020

    21 Oct, 2019 | News

Nominations close tomorrow for the Prime Minister’s Veterans’ Employment Awards. The Awards recognise businesses who employ and support Australian military veterans, as well as recognise veterans who are making a significant contribution to the workforce as an employee or entrepreneur.

BCT Solutions is very proud to have been recognised as the Outstanding Veterans’ Employer of the Year 2019 and the Veterans’ Employer of the Year – Medium. We firmly believe in supporting and mentoring veterans as they transition into civilian employment. We developed veteran Transition Tips and engaged as a mentor for UNSW Alumni transitioning from defence to civilian employment. Through BCT’s clear and proven commitment to hiring veterans, over 87% of its team are veterans.

Our General Manager, David French recently wrote about his experience leading troops into battle and how that translates into life after service. From leading veterans throughout the recruitment process, and promoting the value and successes of veteran employees, BCT and Accenture support work health and safety needs for those who may have service injuries, provide leave for Reserve duties, encourage professional development and promote continued engagement with the defence community.

Nominations for the Prime Minister’s Veterans’ Employment Awards close tomorrow. If you know a business who employs and supports Australian military veterans or a veteran who is making a significant contribution to the workforce as an employee or entrepreneur, then this is your last chance to nominate them. Nominate now!
