Why We Expanded Into Technical Services

Life as a growing company is a rollercoaster. Challenging, tiring, rewarding, always filled with hope…but also so many decisions to make on direction.

So the expansion to add Technical Services to our offering didn’t come lightly. Here are 3 reasons why we decided to expand in this direction.

1. Market

It would be a cliche to say that technology adoption has never been so great. But for us, there is a huge awareness in the market of both the benefits and pitfalls of technology investment. It is not good enough to simply spend money on the latest and greatest product.

So we knew the market was looking for smart advice on how to best leverage the benefits of the digital world. That seemed like a pretty good opening.

2. Fit

Up until now, we had well established practices in learning and development, engineering and project delivery. Including the information domain was a good fit for developing end-to-end capability.

It makes so much more sense to have buy-in with the analysis, intelligence and strategy. That way we can give a more complete solution and control the outcome in the best interests of the client.

3. People

If you have spent 30 seconds reading our website, then hopefully you will have noticed we are all about people. They are the life blood of our company. Hence it would be totally unfair to just pitch them into the project saying they do, ‘technical services.’

This was the real clincher for us. We have built a company around mature experts in industry. So adding services to the offering had to be built on the same principles. Fortunately as a growing company, we reached a point where we had the people, with the expertise and a process to deliver it. So here we are.
